Here is an idea for those custom made projects. I have recently made a couple of items that were personal gifts. What I did was cut the base of the project and had it sanded and ready for some polyurethane. Prior to doing that I let the person or people who the gift was from, sign the bottom of the base with a Sharpie. Once this has been coated with the polyurethane it is protected and I believe will stay for a long time.One of the projects is a Mother’s day gift for my Mom, so I can not put pictures of that. Don’t want her to see it.
I forgot to add this - Congratulations to Jeff! He graduated from Fresno Pacific College. This young man has worked full time and put himself through college.
