I have a good friend in Florida who is a dedicated teacher. I also have a sister in-law who is also a teacher. For both I made a Magic Apple. The one pictured is made of redwood with an arrow made from pine.
What makes it a Magic Apple? Well the apple is one solid piece with a hole drilled through it. The arrow is also a solid piece. However the head and tail of the arrow are bigger than the hole in the apple. The arrow has not been broken and glued back together.
