Vase 2

I am blessed in many ways. One is I have a very loving supportive sister. So this vase was for her. As you can see, this vase is a bit different than the first one I made. The board I used is part redwood and part pine. I glued ¾” strips together and then cut it into this vase. I also scalloped the base.

2008 Christmas Ornaments

Here are a couple more Christmas ornaments. Both made with ¼” poplar. The date on the horse was done with a wood burner. The saddle was painted with fingernail polish. Both patterns were from the great folks at The Scroller’s CafĂ©. I had someone ask that I put something in the picture to help judge the size of the items, so we put a quarter in this one.

Coming Soon!

Coming Soon!
Well I have five different projects I am working on at the same time. So it might be a few more days before I can post any pictures. The daylight savings and recent rain doesn’t help as my “shop” is outside.

Etsy
If you are not familiar with Etsy it is a place (on the internet) for crafters to sell their products. All items at Etsy are supposed to be hand made. We will be opening a store with some of the items I have made. So if there is something you see here, check our store to see if it is for sell. I will put a post here when the store is open, so keep checking back!

Just for Fun

This was a fun small project. It was designed to be cut into a puzzle... I liked it better like this.

UPDATE (10/17/08):
I took my little friend to work and he was helping me guard my desk. Then, as I was talking with a dear friend I found out that her three year old grandson Jacob has cancer. He has been through 4 rounds of chemo and is starting to lose his hair and is sick to his stomach. So I decided my friend would be better off with Jacob to help with his battle! For those who believe and pray – please say a prayer for Jacob and his battle that he his bravely fighting!
